Buyer questions
What the engagement actually means.
Who is the Speed Audit for?
Shopify teams buying traffic to exact landing pages and wanting a technically grounded view of mobile arrival performance. It is not a generic SEO, redesign, replatforming, or open-ended CRO service.
What does the Speed Audit cost?
The audit is $950 flat. If you proceed with the Fix Sprint scoped from that audit, the $950 is credited in full once toward implementation.
Which URLs do you test?
You submit up to five exact Shopify landing URLs used or planned for paid campaigns. We do not substitute the homepage when your ads land elsewhere.
Do you need Shopify access for the audit?
No access is required to begin. We use public page evidence and label anything that cannot be confirmed. Implementation access is requested later and only for an approved Fix Sprint.
Can you work with our apps and theme?
Usually, if the audit identifies a change that is technically possible and contractually permitted. We will not pretend to control third-party vendor code, and some app behavior may require vendor support or a separate decision.
Will you work on the live store?
Not as the working method. Technical changes happen on a duplicate or unpublished theme. The sequence is backup, implement, QA, compare, approve, publish, and verify.
How long does the audit take?
Five business days from receiving the complete URL and context inputs. If the inputs are incomplete, the delivery clock starts when the necessary information arrives.
What do we receive?
A measurement brief, prioritized diagnosis, implementation order, scope and exclusions, verification plan, and a walkthrough. The public Sample Audit shows the structure without using a client result.
Does the audit include implementation?
No. It defines the implementation. A Fix Sprint starts at $4,500 and is priced from the approved audit scope.
Do you guarantee a conversion lift?
No. We verify technical changes and page behavior under stated conditions. Sales depend on traffic quality, offer, merchandising, analytics, seasonality, and other factors beyond a performance sprint.
Will we get a 90+ PageSpeed score?
We do not sell a score target. Scores are diagnostic summaries, not the buyer path. A change that improves a score while damaging an important interaction is not a win.
Why has CrUX not changed immediately?
Chrome field data uses eligible real visits over a rolling period and may be unavailable at URL level. It can lag deployment. We report lab comparison and field evidence separately.
Who owns the implementation?
Once paid for, project-specific approved code and theme changes delivered for your store are yours. Featherload retains its pre-existing methods, tools, templates, and general know-how.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
If we determine the submitted request is outside the service before work starts, we decline and refund the payment. Once audit work begins, the fee covers reserved specialist time and delivered analysis. Fix Sprint cancellation terms are stated in its written scope before work starts.
How do you handle confidentiality?
We use submitted information to assess and deliver the service, limit it to the team and providers needed for that work, and do not publish client identity, screenshots, metrics, or testimonials without explicit approval.
What happens after payment?
You receive the intake page for exact URLs and context. Our team confirms fit and complete inputs before the five-business-day audit clock starts. Payment does not automatically create an account or grant us store access.
